Our Story:
A Vision Rooted in Love
What began as one woman’s heartfelt dream has grown into a safe haven for dozens of children who once had no place to call home.
In 1999, Adonna Cullumber stepped out in faith to follow a calling she had carried her entire life—a deep compassion for children in need, especially those in Mexico. That same year, Casa Esperanza para Niños opened its doors in Hermosillo, Mexico, welcoming seven children into a house filled with love, safety, and the hope of a better future.
As the Casa family grew, so did the vision. In 2009, with the help of generous supporters, Casa moved to a 3.5-acre ranch just outside Hermosillo’s city limits. Today, the ranch includes four homes and a vibrant recreation center—complete with a computer lab, dining space, and play areas. Over 45 children now call Casa Esperanza home.
About US:
At Casa Esperanza, each child is welcomed as family, nurtured in faith, and given the tools to succeed in school, relationships, and life.

No story is beyond redemption. At Casa, we stand as a beacon of hope for children who have endured trauma, abandonment, or abuse. Through healing relationships, faith, and unconditional love, we help restore hearts and rebuild lives—one child at a time.
A Mission You Can Be Part Of
